From what age can my baby sleep in the baby hammock?
Your baby can use the Lottili baby hammock right from birth, from a weight of 3 kg. The gentle up-and-down motion reminds your baby of the familiar movement in the womb and helps a lot in the first weeks, while your baby gets used to all the new surroundings.
Baby hammock or bouncy seat: what's the difference?
A bouncy seat is small and handy, but it usually isn't meant for longer sleep. The baby hammock hangs from a spring on a stand and gently bounces up and down, much like the movement your baby felt in the womb. Your baby lies in a hammock with its own mattress and can take daytime naps in it.
With the Lottili motor, the motion stays even: you set the baby hammock bouncing once, and the motor takes over your rhythm.
How long can my baby use the baby hammock?
The Lottili baby hammock is suitable for babies up to 12 kg and about 9 months of age. As soon as your baby can roll over, sit up or pull up on their own, only use the baby hammock under constant supervision.
When is my baby too big for a baby hammock?
We advise against using the baby hammock once your baby can roll over on their own. If you still want to use it, we recommend supervising your baby at all times.
How many hours at a time can my baby sleep in the baby hammock?
We recommend not leaving your baby in the baby hammock for more than 4 hours at a time. The baby hammock is a sleep aid and does not replace a baby's own bed. Watch your baby's cues, since every baby is different.
Can my baby get "used to" the baby hammock?
Lots of parents worry about this, but there's no need to. Babies don't get "used to" the baby hammock the way they would to a bad habit. The motion reminds them of a biologically rooted movement pattern they know from the womb. Studies show that babies who sleep well in the baby hammock often sleep better elsewhere too, because they are less overtired and their nervous system becomes more settled.
Is the rounded-back lying position good for my baby?

The cotton hammock is machine washable. Please follow the care instructions on the label. We recommend a gentle cycle at 30-40 °C. Wipe the motor parts and the wooden stand with a damp cloth and don't let them get wet.
